What is a Bill of Materials?
A Bill of Materials (BOM) is a detailed list that manufacturers use to see what materials and parts they need to make a product. It includes everything from raw materials to tiny components and shows how much of each item is required.
This document helps manufacturers plan their purchases, control inventory, and ensure they have everything needed to avoid delays and reduce waste during production.
